Welcome to the Division of Public Health
Our mission is to protect and promote the health of communities in Utah and globally through high-quality scholarship and research. We prepare students to respond to emergent public health challenges by providing critical skills through our accredited MPH, MSPH, and PhD degree programs. Our faculty members engage with communities and public health agencies to help develop capacity and gather and analyze data. They strive to advance the scholarship of public health through meaningful research covering a wide spectrum of public health issues from cancer prevention to program delivery in refugee communities to the health impacts of climate change. We integrate our research and practical expertise into the student experience to create a rich learning environment. We strive to create a community where everyone belongs and can succeed in pursuing their educational goals.
