Graduate Certificates Overview

The Division of Public Health offers four graduate certificates for professionals who are not seeking a full graduate degree. The certificates equip professionals with specialized skills to tackle health challenges. Options include the Public Health Certificate (biostatistics, epidemiology, policy), the Global Health Certificate (global health issues), the Public Health Statistics Certificate (data analysis), and the Emergency Health Certificate (crisis management). Each program enhances expertise and offers certification to advance your career.

Certificates from the University of Utah Graduate School

The University of Utah Graduate School offers a variety of graduate certificates in all disciplines. Interested students can review the Graduate School's offerings in the General Catalog under Programs by searching "Graduate Certificate" under Program Type.

NOTE: Students interested in pursuing a graduate certificate to fulfill their elective course requirements can meet with their academic advisor for guidance on suggested electives. Students work with their faculty advisor to select and obtain approval for elective courses. Only a faculty advisor can approve elective courses before registration.
