Charles R. Rogers, PhD, MPH, MS, MCHES® was recently awarded a certification upgrade from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. After receiving the certification, Dr. Rogers is now a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES®), following his successful completion of the rigorous three-hour MCHES® examination. "Achieving the distinguished MCHES® credential during the difficulties and uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic was a strenuous road to say the least," says Dr. Rogers of the achievement. In addition to passing the MCHES® examination, Dr. Rogers had to both meet academic qualifications and commit to satisfying 5 years of continuing education requirements to reach this highest level of certification.
