Qeadan was nominated by Anna Panorska, PhD of UNR’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Following his nomination, past young alumni honorees considered his accomplishments since graduation and voted for him to receive the honor. Alumni of the Year recipients must be graduates of UNR, have an outstanding record of career accomplishments, and exhibit dedication to the UNR College of Science’s goals and missions. The award celebrates Qeadan’s integrity and scholarship. Qeadan will join other recipients and be presented the award in an in-person award celebration that will take place in mid-October.
