Erin McCormack Named Family Medicine Division Director

We are excited to announce Erin McCormack as the new Family Medicine Division Director.

With a distinguished background as the Director of Strategic Projects for legacy CPG, Erin brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success to this role. Since 2017, she’s led countless initiatives that improve efficiency, patient experience, care quality, and provider well-being. Under Erin’s stewardship, Virtual Urgent Care became the University’s largest telehealth program, positioning it to play a key role in the institution’s COVID-19 response. She co-led the implementation of Project CORE across 40 U Health specialties, enhancing primary care providers' access to specialty input.

Before joining the U, Erin held several positions at Neumont College of Computer Science, including Dean of Students. As a member of the executive leadership team, she oversaw department finance and developed the annual budget. Erin was recognized for her efforts in recruiting and developing a collaborative team, achieving the highest employee retention rate in the department for six consecutive years.

She earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Neumont College of Computer Science.

In her free time, Erin is an avid traveler and can be found on a mountain, an airplane, or reading.

Erin is eager to foster the exchange of ideas and wisdom between legacy CPG and legacy DFPM to unify the new entity. Erin’s exceptional leadership skills and commitment to advancing clinical care will play a pivotal role in furthering innovation within the Division of Family Medicine.
