Department education programs include residencies, fellowships, education for medical students, a physician assistant program, and degree programs in public health. The family medicine residents receive teaching and mentorship from 17 faculty family physicians, one PhD faculty member, one geriatric nutritionist, one PharmD, and more than 200 volunteer clinical faculty. Additional research mentorship and expertise are available through the other programs in our department. These include the programs in occupational environmental health, physician assistant training, PhD and master of public health, master of biostatistics, and postdoctoral psychology internships.
